THE LEAP DAY.. 29TH FEB '08

something random first. as i was listening to 98.7 fm while working, the djs said if you proposed on this day, the other party must agree to it.

after work, met up with my class dearies for a little dinner. went to shaw's fish&co. trust me, i'll not go there again anytime soon. LOL. all thanks to dearest gossip partner - xinyi, i was made to stand on a real high chair in front of the whole fish&co and you know the staff there will start to sing a weird happy birthday song followed by the normal one. i had to stand there really long ok. i looked utterly stupid. one hand holding onto the cake, another onto a sparkler. like wth. it was really embarassing. so much so for the embarrassment, they mixed all the leftovers with sambal sauce, garlic, lemon sauce, mayoniese, water and french fries tgt and each of them fed me one mouthful of it. it's really disgusting alright. and i really want to thank one of the staff there (named xiaohui) for giving my frens all the sauces available in the kitchen. not forgeting smashing my face into the cake. thanks huh.

even though not alot of people went, i appreciated those who came. thanks alot!

THE ACTUAL DAY.. 01 MAR '08

actually wanted to go to sentosa, but the weather was unsuitable. so the small celebration with my two sisters, lyn and min, teleported to top one ktv at bugis. the environment there was so much more better than party world and kbox. there are room effects, light effects, free flow of drinks, better sofa, bigger tv, newer songs, and most importantly, cheaper prices. after singing, we went to novena. the girls didnt want me to know the surprise. and talked lots of crap when i asked them. and they said its better than spore flyer as i wanted to have a ride on the spore flyer. in the end, they brought me to kampong fish therapy. a place where you allow slimy fishes which looked like tadpoles to eat all the dead skin cells on your feet. the sight of having to see so many fishes was disgusting enough. imagine you still have to put your legs into the pond later. disgusted. however, the assistants there know that we were so afraid from all our screamings, they helped and guided us. asked us not to see the fishes and by putting our heels inside first. all i can say is that i couldnt stop laughing as it was too ticklish!! the fishes were like little massagers and you'll find ur legs vibrating uncontrollably. it was really fun even thou it can be a waste of money to some of you people. but it's really a time where you can bond with your frens and had fun with them. and how many people can experience this on their birthday? it's truely memorable. one of my happiest day ever!

after feeding the fishes, we went to have steamboat just next to the shop. we had filled out stomach to the brim. and here comes a call from someone whom i didnt expect to call. was kinda turnoff as i had to squabble on my birthday. then simin asked whether she could stayover at lyn's place. surprisingly, her mum who even keeps her passport and atm card agreed! we were over the moon and decided to go powerhouse to find ellen and co there. if you dunno, my birthday is on the 1st, ellen's on the 2nd. so if we have chance, we will celebrate over the midnight. most of the people there, im nt really close with, except people like ellen, weijian, and junxian. anw, in between the fun night, a really turnoff happened. but i shall not say anything here.

osme of you might not be happy about the birthday celebration which consists of merely three persons. i must declare here first that i didnt think that it was like this in the first place and it was min and lyn who planned all these. im not pushing blame now. let me finish wat i wanna say. firstly, they tot that i've drifted away from this sec sch clique which 3 of us really cherished. so they tot it will be better and easier for me to bond with them to salvage this frenship when there are lesser people. fyi, i dun like to disturb you and your partner and that most of you are attached. so its only natural that i give all of the couples own time and own space as i think i'll be an extra and have to auto abit. so i seldom asked your partner out individually sometimes as i dun wanna 'disturb' somehow. tell me, who doesnt want frens are there whenever you need them? sometimes even when i feel lonely or wat, i dun even want to ask your partner out. as i know you guys need time yourselves since you all didnt spend much time since all of us are from diff schs. i rather be alone. maybe you just want to help me celebrate, i appreciate it really but however, since the planners think it'll be better this way, why dun you just respect them? or think, if we were to go out tgt as a big grp, wat are we gg to do? the old routine? am i gg to enjoy? i know my girlies have my good at heart. im not trying to boost myself as a noble person here. but i just want you all to understand that it's really childish of you to get upset or affected by such a small matter. i wanna laugh seriously. if you dun want them to celebrate with me, just say, dun celebrate that's all. all you think is the fun that you might left out if you are not there, have you all tot of my feelings? if you really have the heart and sincerity to celebrate, anytime is the time ok? im not a ridiculous person here. as long as you say how you feel, i'll try to understand you there. but dun be too unreasonable. anything not happy, can just tell me. i dun wish our frenship will be affected by this stupid little thing. or, our frenship is soo weak that it can be affected easily by such stuff?
03 MAR '08..

is the day i spent with my dear sb clubbers. just a simple get-together session, catching up with them and gossip with each other. that's our fav pastime. not alot of people, but i still appreciate those who came. love you all.

celebrates jacqueline's (sp) birthday in advance at cafe cartel raffles city. sabotaged her as she dd that to me on my bday. and i hope she realised how many people loved her.
